One well known family from Civitella del Tronto go by the name Di Giamberardino. In the 1900’s several members emigrated to America from this area. At least one has distinguished himself as a highly skilled reproduction technician.

A third person looking to connect with others from Civitella del Tronto is Kathy Nolen.  She writes: Hello!  I just found your website.  My mother’s family is from Civitella del Tronto.  Her father’s name was Michele DePietropaolo b. 24 Dec 1880.  Her mother’s name was Chiarina Marino (not sure of the spelling) b. 12 Sep 1885.  Michele’s parents were David DePietropaolo b. 18 Apr 1867 and Domenica Lenzi b. 24 Apr 1857.  I’m hoping to find more information.
